COVID-19 Emergency Response

Given the disruption that the Coronavirus pandemic has forced upon all of us, NCM is passionate about serving you with excellence. We are committed to raise awareness, strengthen existing programs and strive to maintain open lines of communication to meet the demand for our services with urgency. Please email us at: Email us ( This project was supported through a generous grant from The Pittsburgh Foundation.

Our mission to enhance impoverished communities improves the quality of life for the households of our neighbors experiencing hardships. As a 501(C)3 church organization, we will continue to offer our services to those in need by providing utility and basic need assistance, crisis counseling, safe recreation according to CDC recommendations and other services through this unprecedented time. Our goal is to remain a resource for limited-income, single mothers with minor children, those who lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and other individuals struggling to afford basic utility services.

During this time of many unsure economic situations, NCM anticipates a significant increase in demand for our services in the coming months, including basic need distribution of face masks, shields, hand sanitizers, personal hygiene products, food, winter coats, etc.

Due to COVID-19, NCM "Emergency Energy Relief Assistance (ERRA) program" will continue to take applications for Dollar Energy Fund grants via Email only. The COVID19 Emergency Response  Hardship Program aims to provide assistance and tangible aid to single head-of household moms raising minor children, families and individuals experiencing difficulty affording adequate and safe utility supplies in order to maintain basic living standards.

We are adjusting to remote workforce arrangements in the midst of this pandemic. Hence, we anticipate longer than normal wait times for our clients. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are grateful for your cooperation and understanding.

If you currently have a balance over $100 or $50 if age 62+, without utility service, or if you have received a termination notice, please download this application process attachment and then contact us via email at "". Most of our Dollar Energy utility partners, along with their government oversight entities, are temporarily modifying their guidelines and policies to allow for leniency towards customers facing utility service terminations.

We understand that utility assistance is often not the only need of a household, so our approach pairs those seeking assistance with additional resources that can help lift them out of their current situation and on to the path of self- sufficiency. You must meet all guidelines to be eligible to receive a grant. We offer self-sufficiency workshops on basic budgeting and tips on how to save on energy costs. Please see upcoming events for dates and times.  If you have problems or additional concerns, please contact Nabhi Christian Ministries at
