Resolving Conflict & Transforming Lives, Since 1996

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that supporting our neighbors in need, is not only commanded by Jesus Christ as disciples, but is required for eternal life:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" (Matthew 25:35).

We Believe

Religion can influence the response to poverty by fostering an attitude of willingness to practice generosity.

We Believe

Our community is an extension of our congregation. We believe very strongly in the power of serving the community as a part of our  growth, showing love through our actions. "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth" (1 John 3:18); “If you love me, you will obey what I command" (John 14:15).

The Triune God

We believe in the one true and living God, the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable, and is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Father: God, as Father, reigns over all His universe with providential care. He is all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise (Gen. 1:1; 1 Chron. 29:10; Jer. 10:10; Matt. 6:9; Acts 1:7; Rom. 8:14-15; 1 Cor. 8:6;1 Cor. 15:24; Eph. 4:6).

Son: The Lord Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man by volunteering Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin (Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-18; Rom. 3:24-26; Rom. 8:3).

Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who convicts the world of sin. He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead; He indwells believers permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills those who are yielding to Him (John 3:3-8; 14:16-17; 16:7-11; 1 Cor. 12:7-11, 13; Eph. 4:30; 5:18).

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9).

We believe that Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and the Life—the one and only way to eternal life (John 14:6).

We Are Reminded:

To glorify God through imitating Christ’s attributes and deeds of love, grace, mercy and favor;

To never discriminate and to show respect for religious background of every individual. We cherish the confidence our community have placed in us to further the love of God through our actions;

"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28).
